Les Brasseurs du Temps is the reincarnation of the area’s first brewery, which began in 1821. The current building dates from 1930 and was reopened 3 years ago.It sits by Boulevard Montcalm and Brewery Creek ( Ruisseau de la Brasserie ) and is just minutes from Ottawa, via the Chaudiere Bridge.

The old stone buiding houses a micro-brewery and restaurant, plus a brewery museum in the basement. There is a large patio for outdoor eating and drinking.

There were 12 micro-beers on tap during our 2 visits, plus an extensive list of wine and liquor. There is a good range of pub food and more ( e.g. home-made clam chowder, bison tartare, etc.) and we found the food to be good value.
